Legal
By creating an account or using LaxBench, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Reynolds Interactive, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), the company operating LaxBench.
LaxBench is a lacrosse team and player statistics tracking platform intended for coaches, team administrators, and parents or guardians tracking player performance. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not use the service to harass, harm, or collect information about others without authorization.
LaxBench is not a communication platform between adult coaches and minor players. No feature of LaxBench is intended to facilitate direct personal communication between adult account holders and minor athletes. Any use of LaxBench to initiate or facilitate inappropriate contact with minor athletes is a violation of these terms and will result in immediate account termination. We reserve the right to report such misuse to appropriate authorities.
You must be at least 13 years of age to create a LaxBench account. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 13 years of age or older. LaxBench does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
Where a player profile or account is being created for a user under 13, the account must be created and managed by a parent or guardian who provides verifiable parental consent as described in our Privacy Policy. Coaches who create roster entries for players under 13 represent that they have obtained appropriate authorization from those players' families. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account without parental consent, contact us at privacy@laxbench.com and we will promptly remove the account.
If you use LaxBench to enter roster or performance data about players who are minors, you represent that you are an authorized adult — such as a coach, team administrator, or parent or guardian — and that you have appropriate authorization from your organization and the players' families to record and store that information.
You further represent that your use of LaxBench complies with all applicable laws governing the collection and storage of minor athlete data in your jurisdiction, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), applicable state privacy laws, and any data protection requirements imposed by your sport's governing body or sanctioning organization. Reynolds Interactive, LLC does not provide legal or compliance advice. Responsibility for obtaining appropriate consents and authorizations rests entirely with you as the account holder.
You agree not to use LaxBench to collect or store contact information for minor players — including personal phone numbers, home addresses, or personal email addresses — in a manner that would be accessible to unauthorized adults. You agree not to use any feature of LaxBench to initiate, facilitate, or encourage direct personal communication with minor athletes outside of appropriate, supervised organizational channels.
Roster and performance data about minor players is entered by authorized adult account holders on behalf of their organizations — not collected directly from minor players themselves. LaxBench does not facilitate direct communication between adult coaches and minor players through any feature of the platform.
Parental rights. Parents and guardians of minor players have the right to: (1) request access to their child's personal information held in LaxBench; (2) request correction of inaccurate information; (3) request deletion of their child's personal information; and (4) refuse further collection or use of their child's information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@laxbench.com. We will respond within 30 days at no charge.
Data minimization. For minor players, we collect and store only information reasonably necessary to provide the service: name, jersey number, position, and game performance statistics. We do not require collection of additional personal identifiers beyond what is reasonably necessary for game performance tracking.
SafeSport alignment. LaxBench is designed to support the principles of the SafeSport Authorization Act. No direct messaging or personal communication feature exists between adult account holders and minor players within LaxBench. No minor player contact information entered into LaxBench is accessible to any party outside the account holder's authorized coaching staff. SafeSport concerns may be reported to the U.S. Center for SafeSport at safesport.org.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@laxbench.com if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without advance notice depending on the severity of the violation.
You retain full ownership of all team and player data you enter into LaxBench.
Peer & institutional confidentiality. We do not share your data with other users, teams, schools, programs, athletic departments, athletic directors, booster organizations, or any other affiliated institution, for any purpose, under any circumstance. Team data entered into LaxBench is private to the account holder. A coach at School A cannot access, view, or receive data belonging to a coach at School B. No institutional administrator, athletic director, or school official has any standing to request or receive another user's data through Reynolds Interactive, LLC.
Governing-body & research reporting. Separately from the peer confidentiality described above, we may share aggregated, de-identified statistical data — data that does not identify you, your organization, or any individual player — with the sport's national governing bodies (such as USA Lacrosse) or research partners, for purposes such as participation trends and program development. We will never share individually identifiable data, and never any data about a minor athlete, with a governing body or research partner without separate, explicit consent.
The only other exceptions are: (1) coaches or staff you explicitly invite and authorize within your own account; (2) our infrastructure service providers listed in the Privacy Policy, who are bound by data processing agreements and may access data only as necessary to operate the platform; and (3) legally compelled disclosures under a valid court order or subpoena, which we will resist to the extent permitted by law and will notify you of unless prohibited from doing so. You may request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at support@laxbench.com.
LaxBench uses a slot-based licensing model. Each account receives one free slot upon creation. Additional slots may be purchased to create additional team or player seasons.
Each account receives one free slot upon creation. Additional slots may be purchased at any time. Slots are consumed at the time a season is created — not at the time of purchase.
Purchased slots are non-refundable. Slots are consumed at the time a team season or player season is created — they are not returned if a season is archived, deleted, or the account is later closed. This reflects the permanent nature of the license granted. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy.
For our complete refund policy including exceptions and dispute resolution, see our Refund Policy.
Your assigned slot price is locked in at the time your account is created. If we raise prices for new users in the future, your existing account retains your original assigned price.
Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. Reynolds Interactive, LLC does not store, access, or transmit your payment card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details — all card data is handled directly by Stripe. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service. Reynolds Interactive, LLC is the seller of record for all LaxBench transactions. LaxBench currently accepts payments from US-based organizations only.
Reynolds Interactive, LLC is responsible for collecting and remitting applicable US state sales tax where required by law. Sales tax, if applicable, will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on your billing address. We are not currently registered to collect or remit VAT, GST, or other international taxes, and do not accept payments from outside the United States.
The Player Portal unlimited subscription grants unlimited season creation for one calendar year from purchase. It does not auto-renew — you must manually renew before expiration. Existing seasons remain accessible if the subscription expires.
If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us at billing@laxbench.com within 30 days of the charge. We will investigate and respond within 10 business days. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute before contacting us may result in account suspension pending resolution.
LaxBench, including its design, code, features, and branding, is the intellectual property of Reynolds Interactive, LLC. You may not copy, reproduce, reverse-engineer, or distribute any part of the platform without our prior written permission. "LaxBench" is a trademark of Reynolds Interactive, LLC (trademark registration pending). Unauthorized use of our trademarks is prohibited.
You retain all ownership rights in the data you enter into LaxBench. By entering data into LaxBench, you grant Reynolds Interactive, LLC a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display that data solely as necessary to provide the service to you.
LaxBench is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
Reynolds Interactive, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use LaxBench, including without limitation loss of data, missed games, scheduling errors, lost profits, or any other damages, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you have paid us in the twelve months immediately preceding the claim, or (b) fifty dollars ($50). This limitation applies to all causes of action in the aggregate, whether based in contract, tort, or any other legal theory. This limitation does not apply to liability arising from our gross negligence or willful misconduct, or to any indemnification obligations under Section 11.
Reynolds Interactive, LLC does not provide legal, regulatory, or compliance advice. Account holders are solely responsible for ensuring their use of LaxBench complies with all applicable laws, including those governing the collection and storage of minor athlete data in their jurisdiction.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Reynolds Interactive, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (1) your use of LaxBench in violation of these Terms; (2) your misrepresentation of your authority to enter data about minor athletes or your failure to obtain required parental consents; (3) your violation of any applicable law, including laws governing minor athlete data; or (4) any claim that data you entered into LaxBench infringes or violates the rights of any third party.
We reserve the right to assume exclusive control of the defense of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with us in asserting any available defenses.
Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights by requiring individual arbitration of most disputes and waiving your right to a class action lawsuit or jury trial.
Informal resolution first. Before initiating any formal dispute process, you agree to contact us at support@laxbench.com and give us 30 days to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Most disputes can be resolved this way.
Binding arbitration. If informal resolution fails, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or LaxBench — including questions about the existence, validity, or termination of these Terms — shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in Illinois, or by videoconference if both parties agree. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Class action waiver. You and Reynolds Interactive, LLC each agree to bring any dispute only in your individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class action, collective action, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any form of class or representative proceeding.
Exceptions. Either party may seek emergency injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm pending arbitration. Claims relating to intellectual property infringement or misappropriation may be brought in court without prior arbitration.
Opt-out. You may opt out of the arbitration agreement by sending written notice to legal@laxbench.com within 30 days of first creating your account. Opting out does not affect any other provision of these Terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. For any disputes not subject to arbitration under Section 12, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Illinois. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply to these Terms.
We are committed to making LaxBench accessible to users with disabilities. If you experience accessibility barriers while using LaxBench, please contact us at support@laxbench.com and we will work to provide access to the information or functionality you need through an alternative means.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect, unless a shorter notice period is required by law. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you must stop using the service before the changes take effect.
