LaxBench is operated by Reynolds Interactive, LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Illinois. When this policy refers to "we," "us," or "our," it means Reynolds Interactive, LLC. Questions or privacy requests can be directed to privacy@laxbench.com.
We collect your email address, username, and the team and player data you choose to enter. For minor players, we collect only the information necessary to provide the service — name, jersey number, position, and performance statistics — and only as entered by an authorized adult account holder, not from the minor players themselves.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store, see, or have access to your payment card number, expiration date, CVV, or other sensitive payment details. All card data is transmitted directly to Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure. We receive only a confirmation of payment and the amount charged.
We do not collect precise location data, device identifiers, or behavioral tracking data for advertising purposes. We do not collect biometric identifiers or biometric information — including fingerprints, facial geometry, retina scans, or voice prints — from any user.
LaxBench uses a limited number of cookies and similar browser storage technologies to operate the service and to understand how our public marketing pages are used.
Strictly necessary. Session authentication tokens used by our database provider (Supabase) to maintain your logged-in state, and security cookies set by Cloudflare for DDoS protection and bot mitigation. These cannot be disabled without breaking the service.
First-party product analytics. On our public marketing pages (such as laxbench.com), we use a small first-party script that records anonymous, session-scoped usage — page views, which buttons are clicked, how far visitors scroll, and roughly how long a page is viewed. This uses a randomly generated session identifier stored in your browser's session storage, which clears automatically when you close your browser tab. It is not a persistent tracking cookie, does not identify you personally, and is never linked to your LaxBench account, name, or email address. We use it only to understand which parts of our own marketing pages are working — not to build advertising profiles, and not to track you anywhere else.
What we do not use. Advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, third-party analytics platforms (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel), social media pixels, or any technology designed to follow you across other websites.
Because none of the technologies above are used for advertising or cross-site tracking, and our first-party analytics is anonymous and limited to a single browser session, we do not display a cookie consent banner. You may clear cookies and session storage through your browser settings at any time — clearing cookies will log you out of your session, and clearing session storage simply starts a new anonymous analytics session on your next visit.
Your data is used solely to provide the LaxBench service — storing your stats, enabling team sharing with coaches you authorize, and sending account-related emails such as confirmations, password resets, support replies, and billing notifications. We do not use your data for advertising.
If we send product updates or feature announcements, you may opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any such email or by contacting us at privacy@laxbench.com. Opting out of product communications does not affect delivery of account-essential emails such as billing confirmations or password resets.
Peer & institutional confidentiality. Reynolds Interactive, LLC does not share, export, disclose, or make accessible any user's team data to any other school, program, athletic department, athletic director, booster organization, or other institution — under any circumstances, including informal requests, institutional affiliations, or competitive interests. No user has any access to another user's data. No school official or institutional administrator external to your account has any claim to or access to your data through this platform.
The confidentiality of your team data between competing programs and organizations is a core commitment of this service — we are a neutral tool for coaches and programs, and we do not serve institutional interests above those of individual account holders.
Governing-body & research reporting. Separately from the peer confidentiality described above, we may share aggregated, de-identified statistical data with the sport's national governing bodies (such as USA Lacrosse) or research partners, for purposes such as participation trends and program development. This data does not identify you, your organization, or any individual player. We will never share individually identifiable data, and never any data about a minor athlete, with a governing body or research partner without separate, explicit consent from the account holder or, where applicable, a parent or guardian.
The only other parties who may access your data are: (1) coaches and staff you explicitly authorize within your own account; (2) our infrastructure service providers listed below, bound by data processing agreements and limited to what is technically necessary to operate the service; and (3) where we are legally compelled by a valid court order or subpoena — in which case we will notify you unless prohibited by law and will resist compelled disclosure to the extent permitted.
LaxBench accounts are intended for users 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Roster and performance data about minor players is entered by authorized adult account holders — coaches, team administrators, or parents and guardians — on behalf of their organizations. This data is not collected directly from the minor players themselves. LaxBench's role is limited to storing and displaying the data that authorized adult users provide.
Parental consent for players under 13. The primary model for minor player data in LaxBench is coach-entered roster data, where an authorized adult enters basic information (name, jersey number, position) on behalf of their program. Where a player profile or account is being created for a user under 13 — such as through a future player-facing feature — verifiable parental consent will be obtained before any personal information is collected from or about that minor. Acceptable verification methods may include email confirmation by a parent or guardian using a verifiable adult email address, a credit card transaction by the parent or guardian, or other methods consistent with FTC guidance on verifiable parental consent. Coaches and administrators who create roster entries for players under 13 represent that they have obtained appropriate authorization from those players' parents or guardians to record and store the entered information.
Parental access and deletion rights. Parents or guardians of minor players have the right to: (1) review the personal information we hold about their child; (2) request correction of inaccurate information; (3) request deletion of their child's personal information; and (4) refuse further collection or use of their child's information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@laxbench.com. We will respond within 30 days. We will not require parents to pay a fee or take unreasonably burdensome steps to exercise these rights.
Data minimization for minor players. For minor players, we collect only what is strictly necessary to provide the service: name, jersey number, position, and game performance statistics. We do not require or encourage collection of a minor player's home address, personal phone number, school identification number, or other personal identifiers beyond what is reasonably necessary for game performance tracking.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information directly from a child under 13 without appropriate parental consent, contact us at privacy@laxbench.com and we will remove it promptly.
LaxBench does not facilitate direct communication between adult coaches and minor players through the platform. No messaging, chat, or direct contact feature exists between adult account holders and minor players in LaxBench. Player performance data is recorded by authorized adult coaches and administrators — minor players do not communicate with adult coaches through LaxBench.
No contact information for minor players — including phone numbers, home addresses, or personal email addresses — is accessible to any party outside the account holder's explicitly authorized coaching staff. LaxBench is designed as a data-recording tool for authorized adults, not as a communication platform between adults and minors.
We support the principles underlying the SafeSport Authorization Act and design our platform to minimize opportunities for inappropriate adult-to-minor contact. Any concern about the safety or welfare of a minor athlete in connection with LaxBench should be reported immediately to privacy@laxbench.com and to your local SafeSport coordinator or the U.S. Center for SafeSport at safesport.org.
We do not sell, rent, or license your personal or team data to any third party. As described in Section 5, we may share aggregated, de-identified statistical data with the sport's governing bodies or research partners; outside of that narrow, non-identifying category, we do not voluntarily share your personal or team data with third parties. We use the following infrastructure service providers solely to operate LaxBench. We maintain data processing agreements with each provider; they are contractually limited to accessing data only as required to provide their specific service and may not use your data for their own purposes:

LaxBench is operated from the United States and primarily serves users in the United States. Data you provide to LaxBench will be transferred to and processed in the United States. Our infrastructure providers — including Supabase and Netlify — may operate servers in multiple countries or regions. By using LaxBench, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and to the processing of your information in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than those in your country of residence.
LaxBench does not specifically target users outside the United States and does not take active steps to offer services to residents of the European Economic Area. If you are located outside the United States, you use LaxBench at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. Purchase records and billing history are retained for a minimum of 7 years as required for tax and accounting purposes, even after account deletion. You may request deletion of your account and all associated personal and team data at any time by contacting us at privacy@laxbench.com. Deletion requests will be processed within 30 days. Data retained for legal or accounting purposes is excluded from deletion requests.
For minor player data: when a coach or administrator deletes a player record or requests account deletion, associated minor player personal information is deleted within 30 days, subject to the same legal and accounting retention requirements noted above.
In the event of a security breach that compromises the personal information of our users, Reynolds Interactive, LLC will notify affected users as required by applicable law. We will provide notification within 30 days of discovering a qualifying breach, or within any shorter timeframe required by applicable state or federal law. Notification will be provided by email to the address associated with your account and, where required, to relevant regulatory authorities.
We will include in our notification: a description of what occurred, the categories of information involved, the steps we have taken or are taking in response, and recommended steps you may take to protect yourself. If you have reason to believe your LaxBench account has been compromised, contact us immediately at privacy@laxbench.com.
All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in a secured cloud database protected by row-level security policies and encryption at rest. Access to your data is restricted to you and any coaches you explicitly authorize. We have implemented industry-standard security measures including Content Security Policy headers, rate limiting, and DDoS protection via Cloudflare.
No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we implement and maintain commercially reasonable security measures, we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@laxbench.com. We will respond to all requests within 30 days.
Parents and guardians of minor players have additional rights described in Section 6 above, including the right to review, correct, and request deletion of their child's personal information, and the right to refuse further collection of their child's information.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy rights available to you under applicable law.
California residents (CCPA / Shine the Light). If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect about you, the right to request deletion of your personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights. We do not sell your personal information to any third party. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes (California Civil Code Section 1798.83). Illinois residents (BIPA). LaxBench does not collect, capture, purchase, receive through trade, or otherwise obtain biometric identifiers or biometric information — including fingerprints, facial geometry, retina scans, iris scans, hand scans, or voiceprints — from any user. The Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) does not apply to LaxBench's data collection practices.
FERPA notice. Reynolds Interactive, LLC operates as an independent third-party service provider and does not act as a school, educational institution, or agent of an educational institution. Whether athletic performance data tracked through LaxBench constitutes an "education record" under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) may depend on your institution's specific policies, applicable regulatory interpretations, and the nature of your organization's relationship with any educational institution. Account holders with FERPA compliance obligations should consult their institution's legal counsel to determine how FERPA applies to their specific use of third-party platforms.
Other states. Additional state privacy laws may apply to residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and other states with comprehensive consumer privacy legislation. We honor valid privacy requests from residents of all states consistent with applicable law. Contact us at privacy@laxbench.com to exercise your rights.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect, unless a shorter notice period is required by law. Your continued use of LaxBench after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last updated.
